Students' Discussion Club FACE

Here is an outline for those interested in the activities and events organized by the FACE Club. To participate in any of the activities you don’t need to register an advance or pay any registration fee, all you need to do is come at the ETRC every Friday at 2 p.m.
So far we have discussed different and interesting topics, such as:

  • Friendship
  • Fashion and style
  • Shopping
  • Wedding traditions around the world
  • Issues in the news

Face Club is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people as here come students from different universities of Chisinau with different backgrounds and hobbies, but who are interested in the English language.
We even had a workshop in computer lab delivered especially for students who are interested in the possibility of incorporating computers in learning English and online project based learning.
We have native English speakers come and discuss currents events, share their impressions of their stay in Moldova and telling about American cultural events.

Movie sessions in original English are also very popular among FACE Club as you not only passively watch a film but have to think and analyze some of the events, characters and discuss its scenes, express your opinion about the movie, cast, and play of actors.
